How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with additional needs and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported. The setting's special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) makes prompt referrals for support. The SENCo is very knowledgeable and works well with the local authority, parents, children and staff. Interventions are modelled to parents and staff to ensure that individual support plans are effective and that children make progress. Additional funding is used to provide staff training, purchase resources or to enhance children's experiences through trips out of the setting to local places of interest.

Outdoor space

Children have access to outside space and participate in a range of planned physical activities, including dancing and ball skills. Children attend forest school and made winter wreaths using collected foliage.

We moved our now 3 year old from another local nursery when he was 14 months old, and he has loved it from the start. There is lots of outside space that they are encouraged to play in, which suits him perfectly. The staff have always been kind and generous with their time and support of us as a family. My 1 year old took a bit longer to adjust to starting nursery and the staff were so gentle and kind with her (and me!), doing all they could to support her to settle in. She now happily walks in every day. We feel so lucky to have found a nursery that feels more like it's in a village community than central London! Thank you Trinity.

We have loved Trinity since our first visit: Shanna and her team are warm and spontaneous, the place is very spacious with lots of natural light thank to wonderful big windows, and the big garden and outdoor space are so precious. There is an authentic atmosphere, more wooden toys and little plastic. The team is caring and loving. We are seeing our 2 years old learning to share and play with other children. Thank you!

Don’t judge the book by its cover. Although located in an old church hall, despite the rough exterior, what you will find inside is a fantastic nursery. The staff and management are warm and genuinely caring. Both of my kids (1 &3) are there and they love it. There is a strong emphasis on individual needs and learning of each child. They have ample outdoor space and a farm across the road! I strongly recommend you pay Trinity a visit!

My little one has been at Trinity Nursery full time since she was 18 months old. Trinity is a nurturing and nourishing environment for my daughter, the nursery nurses are very passionate and have a warm and caring approach. E.g on the first day of settling in my daughter happily had lunch and I was amazed that she even had a nap there. Something that we also appreciate is that anytime we had questions the staff were open to talk to us about it and there has been a vibe that the staff team communicate to each other and are happy to work there. Compared to other nursery in the area Trinity has outdoor space and the children are also taken once or twice weekly to the woodland for forest school learning opportunities. The staff also organise trips for the kids to decathlon to play football and to the nearby Surrey Dock farm. There are weekly ballet classes that my daughter loves. Overall after one year and a half that we have been at Trinity we have been very happy and we think that it feels a bit like a family.

Trinity is a place where children and parents are treated with love. The greek word for what they do is "meraki" This nursery has been serving the local community for more than 30 years, that speaks for itself . Staff are amazing! My daughter, the third child of mine attending , can't wait for the days she goes to nursery! Apparently she is having much more fun there , than with me 😅
