Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and their families are very well supported. Staff provide children with early intervention to ensure that they can actively participate in all aspects of the curriculum. The manager works in partnership with the local authority inclusion leader, early years advisory team and other professionals to support children with SEND effectively.
Outdoors, staff provide children with opportunities to develop their gross motor skills. Children enjoy climbing on obstacle courses created from building blocks. They shriek with joy when operating a pretend cement mixer using big circular movements. Children confidently climb on the logs and jump off, landing safely.
I am sharing this to warn other parents about my experience with one of this nursery group’s branches. It has been over a year since I withdrew my daughter, and I am still waiting for a proper response and refund for the unused fees. The issue began when I found out that male staff members had been carrying out intimate care for my young daughter without my knowledge or consent. I raised this as a safeguarding concern and asked for open communication about who provides personal care. Instead of addressing this properly, the management responded publicly by quoting the Equality Act, which completely avoided the real issue. This was never about discrimination; it was about safeguarding, respect and parental trust. To make matters worse, after withdrawing my daughter in October, the nursery kept the fees for the entire month of November and has still not issued any refund despite repeated requests for over a year. Parents deserve transparency, accountability and honesty from any childcare provider. Based on my experience, I would urge others to ask very clear questions about how this nursery group handles intimate care, communication and refunds before enrolling.
Read on GoogleIt's one of the best! My 4-year-old son was only there for one year and we loved it. It's a shame they doesn't have more years, otherwise I wouldn't have changed him to another school. I liked it because there weren't that many children and that way they could take better care of them. The caregivers are very kind. . If I have another baby I will not hesitate her/ his to enroll in this Nursery.
Read on GoogleThe Hatching Dragon Canada Water teachers and staff created a very heartfelt thoughtful and warm experience for us mums for this mothers day. They invited Aimee fom Holistic Wellness with Aimee to host a wellbeing circle for us where we learnt some breathing, grounding and self healing tips as well as created a much needed, safe space for sharing our experience of motherhood and things that come in the way of our own wellbeing. The teachers and chef then had a lovely dinner laid out for us along with a fun quiz which got us all laughing and connecting with one another. All in all a very thoughtful way of getting us parents together and feeling the joy of community.

Read on GoogleFive stars for Hatching Dragons Canada Water ***** the experience is truly multicultural with inspiring results in our child. We enrolled Sebastien at the nursery after a quick tour and knew the practitioners were who we want to care for Sebastien everyday. He is warmly welcomed by the headteacher in the morning and loves going there every day. Thank you to the staff and management for all their care, and for parents' peace of mind.
