Garden House Nursery Schools, with over two decades of experience, provide childcare in distinctive properties featuring extensive gardens that offer natural light and spacious learning environments. The nursery group is committed to fostering a stimulating atmosphere through an educational program inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, which aligns with all seven areas of learning outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
They emphasise adventurous outdoor play within their natural, green surroundings. The nurseries are praised by parents for their caring and attentive staff, with many highlighting the strong bonds children form with their key workers.
Parents also appreciate the informative daily updates via the EYLog app, which keeps them informed about their child's activities and developmental milestones. The nursery also provides complimentary early drop-off from 7:30 am to support commuting parents.
Operating in multiple locations, including Kingston upon Thames, Garden House Nursery Schools strive to create a 'home away from home' where children feel safe, happy, and intellectually engaged.

Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), develop secure foundations for their future learning. The management team and staff work closely with other professionals to provide appropriate support for individual children, including those with SEND.
When children are outdoors, they play with balls and ride tricycles, and explore natural resources with opportunities for gardening. Staff carefully arrange exciting learning environments outdoors and plan activities to help children express their comprehension and imagination, such as playing with a pretend shop.
We have two children attending TGHN and we could not be happier. Both of them are thriving there and it really is a home away from home for them. Our second child has additional needs which the team have fully embraced and they truly take the best care of her. Both children receive such wonderful care adapted to their needs. The team are wonderful. Thank you!
Read on GoogleI am seriously concerned about the environment at Garden House Nursery. There is a constant turnover of staff, which is unsettling and not what you’d expect from a stable, nurturing setting. Children need consistent care, not a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Leadership—particularly under Tom—appears to ignore or dismiss concerns. This lack of accountability raises serious questions about what’s happening behind closed doors when even basic concerns go unanswered. A nursery should be built on trust, transparency, and emotional stability. Sadly, this setting does not seem to offer any of those things. I would strongly advise other parents to look elsewhere.
Read on GoogleThis was our first nursery, and we have been blown away by the amount of support and care provided! Our daughter has really flourished, and we are particularly impressed by the professionalism in communication, with every detail of her day passed on to us. Garden House is a very safe and welcoming home away from home, and the team all work really hard to be responsive to every need. Thank you!
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been at garden house for 18 months and has had a wonderful experience. From the moment she arrived she felt safe and loved going there. Some of her first words were her key workers who have all been amazing. Special mention to her current Key worker Geraldine and her original Tom, who she loves very much and who I trust completely to be kind, caring and understanding. Garden House also looked after us as a family when we most needed it and I will never forget it. Thank you all!
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been at Garden House for nearly 4 months, and has settled extremely well and enjoys her time at nursery. The staff at the nursery made her settle in process very easy & smooth, and she has formed a strong bond with them ever since, which is a testament to the environment that’s created at Garden House. The facilities are great and she loves the garden, and Louise the manager was very accommodating with our family situation due to unforeseen circumstances. We recommend Garden House to other parents in the area.
