Gayton Goslings Day nursery, located in King's Lynn, offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2-4 years, with additional breakfast, after-school, and holiday clubs for children up to 11 years old. Established in 1974 as Gayton Playgroup, the centre relocated to a purpose-built facility in 2005 and then to a new, state-of-the-art building in 2022, adjacent to the new primary school.

The day care provides high-quality childcare and early education, focusing on individual development through play-based learning, creativity, and exploration. The team of qualified staff promotes curiosity, confidence, and kindness, while fostering strong partnerships with parents.

Open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, for 51 weeks a year, Gayton Goslings Day nursery is dedicated to supporting each child's journey from their first steps to school readiness.

Staff at the setting have a good understanding of children's needs and know how to support their progress appropriately. Children benefit from information sharing between professionals to give them a good standard of support and consistency in their learning.

Outdoor space

The outdoor area is vast and full of a range of learning opportunities. Children enjoy experimenting with movement as they balance across the stepping stones and climb the steps. They strengthen their large motor movements when throwing and kicking the balls and playing group games of skittles.
