Westacre Montessori School, established nearly four decades ago, offers exceptional pre-school education to young children in West Norfolk. The school has consistently grown in reputation and size, providing a nurturing and secure environment for all its pupils.

In 2016, Prince George, son of TRH Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, began his educational journey at Westacre Montessori, a testament to the school's esteemed standing. The institution is dedicated to a thorough application of the Montessori philosophy, aiming to foster the full potential of each child.

Emphasising happiness, self-confidence, and enjoyment, the school believes these elements are crucial for a child's learning development. Every child receives personalised attention tailored to their individual needs, establishing a strong foundation for their future pursuits and interests.

The Montessori method, combined with a supportive and well-structured environment, helps children develop intellectually, emotionally, and socially, encouraging them to approach life with confidence and curiosity. 5 to 5 years old on a termly basis, offering both full-time and part-time placements.

What it's like

This outstanding setting follows a Montessori ethos blended with a range of free play and rich learning opportunities for children. Staff provide time for children to develop their independence and encourage them to take responsibility for themselves and their own learning, which supports children's extremely high levels of confidence and self-esteem. Children demonstrate exceptional behaviour and remarkable social interactions, learning to share, take turns, and resolve disagreements with adult support.
