Westacre Montessori School, established nearly four decades ago, offers exceptional pre-school education to young children in West Norfolk. The school has consistently grown in reputation and size, providing a nurturing and secure environment for all its pupils.

In 2016, Prince George, son of TRH Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, began his educational journey at Westacre Montessori, a testament to the school's esteemed standing. The institution is dedicated to a thorough application of the Montessori philosophy, aiming to foster the full potential of each child.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space

The outdoor area has been extended, and children now have access to a vast space to run, explore and develop their gross motor skills to an extremely high standard. Staff provide various equipment to encourage children to climb, balance and move in a variety of ways. Furthermore, children begin to take risks and develop an understanding of how to keep themselves safe as they climb and jump from large logs.
