First Steps Gaywood is a nursery committed to providing a safe, secure, and educationally rich environment where children can thrive, develop, and exceed their potential. The nursery operates 50 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, excluding Bank Holidays.
The dedicated team focuses on child-led learning journeys, ensuring that every child receives stimulating and appropriate treatment, as reflected in numerous positive parent testimonials. They have their own dedicated building and outdoor play areas, facilitating messy, fun, indoor, and outdoor activities.
The staff are highly qualified and children-oriented, with a strong emphasis on caring for the children as they would their own. The nursery actively accepts various government funding options, including 15 and 30 hours of free childcare for eligible age groups.
They welcome families to visit and experience their nurturing atmosphere firsthand.

Children also spend long periods outdoors, developing high levels of physical proficiency and benefiting from varied and stimulating activities.
Fees are structured around sessions of varying lengths (morning, afternoon, school day, and full day) and are priced according to three age groups. Additional charges apply for registration, consumable items, extra hours, late pick-ups, and late payments.
