About this day nursery

Gee's Little Bee's is a nursery founded and operated by Georgina and Joanne Goddard, a mother-daughter duo who realised their ambition of running their own childcare facility. Since opening in April 2019, they have strived to create an atmosphere that is happy, secure, homely, and nurturing for children to grow and develop.

Both owners are actively involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring they get to know every child and parent. They are proud of their dedicated and highly qualified team of early years educators, selected for their skills and caring nature.

The nursery is open 50 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, with operating hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm on Monday to Thursday and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday. They are closed on bank holidays and for a period around Christmas and New Year.

The nursery adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, providing a foundation for children aged birth to five, focusing on welfare, learning, development, and assessments to prepare them for school and future success.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy many opportunities to run, walk and ride wheeled vehicles. They learn to concentrate and look carefully while moving their ride-on vehicles safely around the imaginative outdoor track, which helps to build on their understanding of road safety.
