Our daughter attended Giant Steps Nursery from 2022 to 2025, and choosing them was one of the best decisions we ever made. From day one, it felt less like dropping our child off at a nursery and more like leaving her with a beloved family member. That sense of trust and emotional security is priceless — and something Giant Steps provides effortlessly. As parents of a child with Special Educational Needs, we know how vital it is to find a setting that truly understands, supports, and celebrates neurodiversity. Giant Steps has been that place. They embraced our daughter’s strengths and met her sensory needs with compassion, creativity, and consistency. Their team never treated her as a challenge — only as someone to nurture and uplift. The meals deserve a special mention — not only were they nutritious, but full of flavour, warmth, and culture. My daughter’s taste buds have been spoiled by dishes I can’t quite replicate at home, and I’m grateful for the love and care poured into every bite. Giant Steps is more than a nursery; it’s an extension of our family and a sanctuary of support. For any parent — especially those raising children with SEN — seeking a place where their child will be truly cared for, heart, mind, and tummy included, I wholeheartedly recommend Giant Steps Nursery.

I can’t thank the team at Giant step enough for the incredible support they’ve given my child and our whole family. Since starting here my child’s communication skills have come on leaps and bounds. The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in every child’s development. What really stands out is how supportive they are towards parents. Whether it’s advice or just being there for a chat, they make you feel involved and reassured every step of the way. Thanks you Barbara Mayne and the Giant Step team for all your hard work and support. 💙

My son has been at Giant Steps for over 2 years and not only does he love attending he absolutely adores both Miss Barbara and Miss Rianna . The nursery is immaculate every single day , they cook the children the most delicious nutritional foods and offer the highest amount of support possible for not only the children but their families. The staff go above and beyond to meet every single child's needs , I couldn't recommend Giant Steps Nursery enough. I am gutted my little boy won't be there after starting Reception we are really going to miss them.
