Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well. Leaders work in partnership with a range of external professionals and parents to devise tailored plans, including strategies and targets that cater for individual needs. As a result, children with SEND make good progress.
Outdoors, leaders ensure coaches expertly challenge children's good coordination and control. Leaders have plans to purchase additional outdoor equipment and develop a forest school area.
For about 5 years, my 3 children have been going to this nursery and Thresher’s day has simply been wonderful! From the staff members to the management, they have consistently and all throughout always shown care and love to my children and me. My children have always been looking forward to go there and I have always had peace of mind knowing they are in excellent care. I couldn’t praise this nursery enough and felt so heavy hearted when it was time for my children to move to reception and leave this nursery. I have been to a few nursery around Orpington and I can honestly say, this is the best nursery my children have attended! I would definitely highly recommend it!
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been attending Threshers Nursery for the past three years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From day one, the staff have treated her like one of their own. They genuinely care about the children, they know their personalities, their routines, and what makes them smile. Every time I dropped her off or picked her up, she was happy, engaged, and clearly having fun. Rain or shine, the team always managed to bring positive energy and warmth to the day. That kind of consistency isn’t easy, but they make it look effortless. One thing I especially appreciated was the sense of freedom they gave the children. Kids should be kids, not constantly wiped down or overly restricted. At Threshers, my daughter was encouraged to explore, get messy, and learn through experience. She became very independent and confident, learning to do things on her own with gentle support when needed. Before this, she had attended a different nursery where she cried almost every day. But here, she was happy from the very beginning. That says a lot. I also want to mention that I always respected their work, I wasn’t the type of parent to micromanage or constantly complain. I trusted them, and they proved over and over that they deserved that trust. In three years, I’ve had zero issues. Thank you so much to the entire Threshers Team. You’ve made such a difference in our lives, and I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to other families.
Read on GoogleHorrible nursery. I still leave with regret for taking my child to that nursery. I have been to CBT therapy for what they did to my child but I always have flash back anytime I see my child. I wish that nursery is close for good. The staff don’t care about the children they sit in groups and chat.
Read on GoogleReally like this nursery. My child was looked after really well and they helped to develop him enough for primary school. Clean facilities, good location and separate areas for the different ages however they all get together at some point. Would recommend to others.
Read on GoogleFriendly staff, and they have a hygiene rating of 5 stars which is brilliant.
