Inclusion & environment
Children in receipt of additional funding and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress. Funding is used effectively to support children's personal, social and emotional development. The person responsible for supporting children with SEND is passionate and dedicated, swiftly putting plans in place to address gaps in progress and working closely with other professionals. Additional funding is used for one-to-one support for children who need it.
Staff promote children's physical development. Opportunities for children to take part in active play are supported well. Recent additions to resources in the garden have supported children to take age-appropriate risks, with staff supervising closely as children climb and helping them to think about hand and foot placement to climb higher.
