Inclusion & environment
The manager is keen to continually develop staff skills and knowledge. For instance, staff attended a course on supporting children with special educational needs to promote best outcomes for children.
To support their understanding of the world further, staff teach children how to care for the pet chickens in the garden and teach them how they live. Staff provide space for babies to crawl and pull themselves up on low apparatus. Older children enjoy climbing in and out of holes and staff teach children how to use bats to hit balls. Staff are vigilant about children's safety. They have robust risk assessments regarding caring for pet chickens in the garden. Staff check all parts of the nursery, indoors and outdoors, to keep children safe from hazards.
My first visit to this amazing community centre that does so much. Well worth a visit
Read on GoogleA lovely center with recreational activities. The hall is conducive and serene.
Read on GoogleWe have rented this hall numerous times for events like weddings and celebrations. It's a good size hall with a raised stage and stage curtains. Adjacent to the hall is a small open plan kitchen with some space for tables. Just outside the hall on the property is a children's playground which is fenced off and away from the road. It does need refurbishment as it's quite an old building but will do on a tight budget.
Read on GoogleThis is a community centre with a nice stage, disabled access, well ventilated with several doors giving access to the outside, a kitchen with a service hatch to the hall and well kept toilets. The hall can take 120 people as an audience and has good lighting.
Read on GoogleWill be using this hall in the near future. It has recently come back into use after a long period of been closed. Therefore hoping the owners will start to invest some money back into the place. A lick of paint would be nice. Changing and updating the drapes. Getting a new PA system Fixing the ceiling above the hatch area and just below the beam. Some soft seated chairs. BUT overall a very good rent!!! Helpful and friendly staff
