About this day nursery

Apricot Day Nursery in St Neots offers a nurturing and intimate environment focused on holistic child development. The nursery is open 51 weeks a year, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, providing flexibility for families.

They follow a Montessori approach within a home-from-home setting, encouraging learning through play and individualised activities. The nursery is split across two sites for different age groups, with a dedicated pre-school setting just a short walk away.

A unique aspect is their 'Brighter Learning Approach', an advanced take on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which focuses on hands-on experiences, child-led learning, and critical thinking across six core areas: My Happy and Healthy Self, Wonderful World, Super Steam, Raving Readers, Mini Maths, and Confident Speakers and Communicators. They also offer a variety of extracurricular clubs like cookery, budding movers, artists, musicians, gardeners, and scientists.

The nursery prides itself on transparent communication with parents, ensuring children's safety, offering freshly prepared nutritious meals, and providing a dedicated key person for each child. They also run a 'Next Stop School' programme to prepare little ones for primary school, even offering a £30 Clarks voucher for school shoes.

I highly recommend Good Manors - Manor Lodge. My child has been with them for 3 mo the and is thriving. I feel happy and comfortable knowing he is there learning & playing. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic nursery, would highly recommend. The staff have built an amazing relationship with my son and he can't wait to go in every day. I feel like they know him personally and cater for his specific needs and wants rather than him just being another child like it can be at other nurseries. I've had the opportunity to go into the nursery for mother's day and have seen my son interacting with staff members confidently and happily. I am so grateful to all the staff and I feel confident leaving him at nursery knowing he will not only be well cared for but also have so many varied learning opportunities that I'd never be able to provide at home!
