Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported by staff to make as much progress as they can in relation to their starting points. The special educational needs leader is confident and knowledgeable about the children's needs and ensures firm working relationships with parents and other professionals involved in the children's care.
The outdoor learning environment is stimulating and provides good opportunities for children to make safe and independent choices. In the forest area, pre-school children have ample opportunities to build on their core muscle strength and develop good hand-to-eye coordination, straddling logs, clambering on hilly banks, and balancing. Toddlers dig in the soil to investigate minibeasts, and the outdoor area has been successfully developed to create even more accessible space for pre-school children and babies.
My little boy loves it here. Consistent staff, who are so kind and friendly. Communication is excellent and they are very accommodating. Highly recommend this nursery.
Read on GoogleAll the recent reviews had been deleted by the nursery because there had been a number of complaints by staff and parents alike. Staff are overwhelmed, unsupported and as a result are not able to care properly for the children.
Read on GoogleOur son was here for two years and we couldn’t have asked for better care. I’m pretty sure my son preferred being at Green Gables to being at home. A fantastic SENCO department that helped us discover our son’s autism at an early age. He is going to be starting school with his diagnosis in hand ahead of the curve thanks to the great team at Green Gables. Thank you so much.
Read on GoogleIf there was an option for ten stars I would give them ten! I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. Unlike the bigger nursery’s, it’s a real personal service and all of the staff get to know your child. It’s obvious they really care and I have no doubt that they have excelled my child’s development.
Read on GoogleTerrible experience! Rude and dismissive behaviour from management team. Dirty and unclean setting. Childrens basic needs are just not being met.
