About this day nursery

Early help strategies are well established to support parents in enhancing their children's learning at home, and managers work diligently to build positive relationships within the local community. Leaders also foster a supportive culture for staff, prioritising training, development, and ongoing support.

Children are encouraged to develop early independence skills, with staff praising preschoolers for tasks like hanging up coats and serving lunch, and assisting toddlers with wiping their noses and clearing plates. The outdoor play area is a firm favourite, where toddlers eagerly engage in ball games, developing arm muscles and hand-eye coordination with staff support.

Inside, an abundance of activities is provided to develop small-muscle skills essential for early writing, and books are thoughtfully placed throughout the setting, alongside dedicated group story times, to cultivate a love of reading.

The Green Nursery in Radford is absolutely fantastic! My daughter is so happy here, and it’s wonderful to see her excitement every day. The teachers are all very kind and attentive, especially Miss Sophia, who always welcomes my daughter with warmth and a big smile. It really makes such a positive difference to her day! As a new couple in the city, we’ve been struggling to manage our time with a busy schedule and responsibilities, but the nursery has been so accommodating. They allow us to arrange times that suit our schedule, which has been a huge help. I’m so grateful for the nurturing and supportive environment they provide. Highly recommend this nursery to any parent!

I am so grateful for Green Nursery and the wonderful support my two children have received at your nursery, especially as one of them is on the spectrum and non-verbal the support he’s received and stil receiving is so amazing. The staff is so caring and attentive, creating a safe space where they both feel comfortable, cared for and valued. I've noticed great progress in their confidence, social skills and my kids are always so happy and look forward to going to nursery each session. I also appreciate how clean and well-maintained the nursery is, which adds to the positive environment. Thank you for making this nursery such a special place for our little ones!

Both my daughters have attended Greens academy, one is currently still there. My little one can’t wait until she goes every morning and is disappointed when weekends arrive and I have to tell her that nursery is closed. My eldest has autism with learning difficulties. Green nursery were very supportive when we were trying to get help for her. The senco system at the nursery is brilliant. Maryam was able to make significant progress whilst she was there. They also helped with toilet training. I am very happy with the teaching at the academy. I feel that my youngest is making a lot of progress whilst there and she loves her teachers who are very friendly towards the children and parents. The atmosphere at the nursery is great and you always feel welcome. The lunches are incredible so much so that I am always asking for any spare! Overall I am really pleased with the nursery and have recommended it to other parents.

Green Nursery Radford are amazing. They have helped our little one on an individual basis and tailored their approach to his needs. He is happy and feels comfortable with his "aunties" that take care of him and has developed good connections with the teachers and children. The management are very organised and always available to speak with you. All the Staff are super friendly and have a cheerful welcoming disposition. A lovely atmosphere all round!
