Pricing & funding

Fees are structured across three age bands with monthly rates based on 10.5-hour full days or 5.5-hour half days. Monthly packages range from basic care to fully funded schedules, with options to stretch government funding over 51 weeks. Fees for funded children over two include food and extracurricular packages.

Outdoor space

There is a strong focus on forest school activities. Children display a very keen interest in woodwork, exploring and creating with different types of wood, and expanding their vocabulary. They use child-size saws, hammers and drills, developing excellent small-muscle skills. The inspector observed the quality of teaching outdoors and assessed the impact of this on children's learning.

Bilingual children have limited opportunities to use their home language to strengthen their developing languages.

Having seen two of our children pass through Greenwood with their excellent facilities including use of a sports hall, astro pitches and their own Forest School, and the third now thriving there I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

A really disappointing experience with this nursery. Not impressed with the staff who left my son alone in the woodland area!! The manager shouts far too much and lacks good communication skills. The woodland itself is a mess.lacking in any actual muds kitchen facilities or safe structures for the children to play on!. They don't seem to teach the children to be considerate to others or basic manners! AVOID!

Choosing this nursery for our daughter was absolutely the right decision. We couldn’t be happier—and neither could she! She genuinely loves going every day. The variety of activities across different learning areas is fantastic, and the Forest School was a big reason we chose this nursery in the first place. She especially enjoys the mini bus trips, which make her experience even more exciting. It’s been a wonderful experience for our whole family.

Our daughter has been at Greenwood for the past 18 months and we couldn’t be happier. She absolutely loves it! She started at a different nursery when she was 1 and we were hesitant to move her but honestly it was the best decision. Greenwood is so different from any other local nursery we have looked at locally thanks to its park-based location, on site forest school, soft play and a sports hall. The kids have so much space to run around and develop. They do weekly ballet, music, tennis, drama and sports classes and often take children off site. The staff are just superb! We look forward to our younger daughter joining the greenwood family next year.
