Our ethos
Our nurseries provide a caring and nurturing environment for children during those precious early years. We want our nurseries to feel like a ‘home from home’, so that the children in our care always feel relaxed, happy, safe and secure. We understand that every child is unique, so our priority is making sure that each one has the space to develop at their own pace, and we make every effort to ensure that all of their physical, intellectual and emotional needs are met.
What it's like

They maintain high expectations and manage behaviour effectively, ensuring calm transitions and teaching children to be kind to each other, resulting in positive behaviour. Inclusion & environment
Overall, staff ensure that children have opportunities to move in different ways in the outdoor garden. For instance, older children use wheeled toys to steer around the garden and staff play ball games with children to teach them how to throw and catch.
We are very happy with Tenderlinks as a nursery setting for both my daughters - one is in the preschool room and the other is in the toddler room, both absolutely love their time there. They settled extremely well which is a testament to the wonderful staff there. All do the staff members are extremely friendly and approachable, it’s clear they really care about the children and their development. Since starting at Tenderlinks the communication has been amazing, especially from the manager and deputy manager. Our daughters skip into nursery each week which is all we can ask for!
Read on GoogleI have had 3 children go through Little Wombles, my first starting in January 2015 and my third will be leaving in August 2022. We have loved the care and support that Wombles have provided for the last 7 years. The staff are fun and caring, and my daughters have happily gone in each day to them. It’s a small nursery that focuses on good relationships with the kids, pods of play opportunities and now in preschool- lots of phonics learning. They make the most of the outside area, and also go to the park lots which my daughter loves. We’ve also loved the various classes each week- French, ballet, sports, music and outdoor learning, trips to the zoo and library visits. I would recommend Wombles to any parent looking for a small, loving and fun childcare option.
Read on GoogleI can’t say enough good things about my daughter’s experience at Tenderlinks. Ellie, Lauren and the rest of the team are amazing and our daughter is thriving there, always so happy to go. They truly care so much about the children, building strong relationships with them and creating a warm and imaginative atmosphere. So many activities (sports, ballet, French, gardening, trips to the park, etc.). We feel so lucky to have found them!
Read on GoogleWe have been so pleased with our choice of nursery, the staff at Tenderlinks could not be kinder and more caring for our little girl. They make the most of their facilities creating such a warm and happy environment for G to explore and play. They are great communicators and update daily on G’s progression & development.
Read on GoogleThis nursery has made me feel so supported. I am a first time mum and it's my sons first nursery and I feel so supported and at easy. Elli and peral have made tgis transition both for him and me so much easier. My son loves it and crys when he has to leave. After the first 2 weeks he has already come back and been open to trying new things e.g porridge and trike riding. He's even learnt to sing in his own way! I am really greatful for the app so i can read what her does in the day and what hes eating and sleep routine is like. I couldn't fault tenderinks.
