Outdoor space
Children are physically active every day during outdoor play and regular walks. They excitedly remember restaurants from their recent walk and discuss what they can smell in the environment during outdoor play. Children choose from a range of engaging activities, indoors and outdoors, developing their creativity in the mud kitchen and during sensory forest activities.
EAL / language support
Children who speak English as an additional language make good progress and are celebrated. For example, all children complete headcounts alongside staff in languages that reflect the children and staff at the nursery. My daughter has been through baby nursery, toddlers & now pre school & has always loved it. The teachers are so caring & fun but at the same time instil discipline & manners. She loves to come home & tell me about her day there & show me her drawings. All the staff are quick to respond to questions daily & they send lovely photos & videos every day of the kids activities. We are so happy with Growing Beans pre school- they encourage the kids to explore different foods & also spend a lot of time outdoors. Thankyou Sadia, Lavinia & Amal.

We are very happy with Growing Beans nursery and preschool in Streatham, seeing our child well cared for and happy. We don’t have to worry about what’s happening with our child because we receive updates throughout the day about what they’ve been doing and where they’ve been. At the end of each day, we also get a detailed list of meals Mike had and the portions he ate. Mike always comes home clean and well-fed.😍 We’re delighted that they organize different educational activities, outings, and pay great attention to physical movement both indoors and outdoors in the fresh air. The staff at the nursery are very kind, always happy to answer any questions, and provide helpful advices on preparing our child for school. We are also very happy with the Spanish lessons provided, as well as the effort the staff make to speak in our native language, Polish, especially for Mike. 🫶🏻 What pleasantly surprised us were the various events where parents can meet and get to know each other. We’ve had many opportunities to see the nursery from the inside, and there have never been any dirty or untidy areas! ✨

Both of my children attend Lucky Beans (one currently in nursery and one in Growing Beans pre-school) and I would highly recommend to any parents looking for childcare. Our children are happy and settled here, and have formed great relationships with the staff and other children. I particularly like that the children are regularly taken out of the setting for trips to the park and other places of interest in the local community. The staff seem well trained and take genuine interest in the children’s development and wellbeing.

My daughter attended this nursery for two years. The nursery is expensive but you get what you pay for. It's very structured and lots of activities like ballet, tennis and learning Spanish. I liked that my daughter got homework. Majority of the staff are nice and caring however towards the end I could see some new people who are not qualified and just friends/ family of staff members. The standards dropped and its disappointing.

Both our children have attended this nursery since they were 8 months old. Only good things to say about it. They have made such strong friendships which I think is rare for this age group. They do football, ballet, tennis, phonics, Spanish, play in the paddling pool, feed the ducks and learn important life lessons on a daily basis. Sadia and the staff there take such good care of them, provide us with detailed daily updates and we’re very sad that soon we’ll be leaving for big school. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone
