Habla Bilingual Day Nursery, established in 2017 in Upton, Wirral, and expanded to Formby in Summer 2021, is dedicated to fostering a secure, joyful, and stimulating environment where each child can thrive and achieve their full potential. The nursery champions a bilingual approach, emphasising play as a fundamental learning tool.

Children are encouraged to explore, cooperate, express themselves, and develop critical thinking skills through imaginative play and interaction with qualified practitioners. The curriculum incorporates Spanish and English, utilising the one-person one-language (OPOL) system to enhance linguistic development.

Habla provides a diverse, fresh menu developed in consultation with a nutritionist, adhering to the Children’s Food Trust Eat Better, Start Better Programme, and catering to specific dietary needs. The team, comprising highly experienced and qualified Spanish and English-speaking staff, including Early Years teachers and specialists in SENCO and safeguarding, is committed to continuous professional development and ensuring every child’s progress in both English and in the bilingual environment.
