Staff attend specific training such as supporting children with sensory processing.

Outdoor space

Staff are enthusiastic as they encourage children to help them dig up the carrots from the raised beds in the garden. Staff identify children's interest in letters and hide letter cards around the garden and give children clues on where to find them.

Hadden Hill has been the best choice for us! We’re glad we found them. The staff are friendly, helpful and have great communication. They live their child-centred approach and have the patience of saints. The food is freshly prepared every day, their cook is a treat. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels as if you’re leaving your child with family, this is the place for you.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Hadden Hill. Very caring staff and our child is always happy to go in the morning (seems like a good sign). Brilliant nursery!

We have used Hadden Hill nursery since 2017, first for our eldest child who went all the way from the baby room right through to leaving for school and now for our second child. We can't fault the nursery - our children have always been excited to go in the mornings and have been up to lots of fun activities during the day. They have made friends and have good relationships with the staff caring for them. We particularly like that the children spend lots of time outside in the large garden area and the meals they are provided are excellent. Certainly since our eldest child has started school it sunk in how good the meals offered by Hadden Hill nursery are in comparison! We wouldn't go anywhere else and have made close friends with other families through nursery that have also had an excellent experience with Hadden Hill for many years.

We enrolled our son at Hadden Hill in 2021 aged 10 months after moving to the area. From the moment we got in touch, to his first day, the team were very welcoming and helpful. They kept us clearly informed and did everything possible to help have a normal onboarding during a challenging time with covid regulations. The team in the baby class have been brilliant with him, they make it a really personal experience to each child; which feels so important in the early days. We felt so happy with Hadden that we have since recommended two friends who moved their babies to the nursery.

Such a great nursery! Our daughter has been going here since January and we’ve seen such an improvement in her social skills. Being a baby who was born not long before lockdown, she was really nervous to be around anyone she didn’t know. She’s grown so much in confidence in these last couple of months. The team are fantastic and clearly care deeply for the children they look after. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
