Butterflies Pre-School Didcot provides a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where leaders prioritise children's interests and build strong relationships with both children and their families. The dedicated staff are adept at understanding and addressing any specific needs children may have, ensuring every child feels happy, confident, and supported in their learning journey.
They are particularly ambitious for all children, employing additional funding in an exemplary manner to cater to individual requirements, such as offering extra sessions, supporting toilet training, and enabling children with complex needs to fully participate in all activities. Children are encouraged to manage their emotions and develop politeness, guided by a team of kind and patient staff.
The pre-school also excels in supporting children who speak English as an additional language, meticulously assessing their progress and providing targeted assistance to bridge any learning gaps. Furthermore, staff exhibit exceptional planning skills in fostering a love for books, promoting independent reading, and delivering engaging group story times.
The commitment extends to actively involving parents in their children's learning, offering various opportunities for participation and providing resources to support literacy at home. 15 pm, catering for children aged 2-4 years.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders and staff get to know children and their families really well. They are aware of any specific needs children may have, or challenges they may face. They put in place any extra support children may need to achieve well or feel safe. Leaders are equally ambitious for all children. The way they use additional funding to meet children's individual needs is exemplary. For example, funding is used to provide extra sessions, support toilet training and ensure children with complex needs can join in safely with all that is on offer.
When outside, although staff keep children safe, they are not consistent in interacting in ways that ensure children are learning as well as having fun.
