30am to 6pm all year round, excluding bank holidays and one week at Christmas. The recent Ofsted inspection on 9th May 2024 rated the nursery as 'Good', highlighting the strong focus on supporting children's communication and language.

Staff are animated storytellers, using songs, stories, and varied tones to ignite children's curiosity and encourage speaking. They effectively use guidance and assessment tools to identify any language gaps, facilitating early and ongoing support through referrals to other professionals.

Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress from their individual starting points. The nursery ensures children are physically active, with ample space for babies to explore and older children enjoying sports lessons.

Leaders are passionate about providing an excellent early years experience, utilising funding effectively to close gaps in children's knowledge and broaden their understanding of the world through activities like seaside trips. The indoor and outdoor curriculum is rich and varied, building on children's existing knowledge and interests.

Staff are deployed effectively to ensure children's safety during all activities, including outdoor play and mealtimes. The setting prides itself on building strong, trusting relationships with families.

Tailored settling-in sessions help children feel secure, contributing to a nurturing, home-from-home ethos where children approach staff for comfort and warmth. Mealtimes are sociable, with children of different age groups learning independence and good manners in a shared dining area.

Brilliant nursery in Biddulph. Both my children have gone over the last 5/6 years. As an anxious parent I confidently leave my little ones.
