SEND provision

Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress. Staff provide stimulating and challenging activities based on children's interests and needs.

Outdoor space

Children take part in activities that support their physical skills. For example, they learn to climb the slide's steps, then glide down. Babies enjoy the ball pool and soft play as they jump and slide into the balls.

Harcourt Nursery has one of the most amazing teams and have looked after both of my children in a kind, fun and encouraging way for the last six plus years. It is always a worry when you send your children to any Nursery for the first time not knowing what to expect but the team have, from my kids’ very first day there and onwards, been supportive, reassuring and knowledgeable that they made each of the next steps my children went through so much easier for us and the kids. Thank you for everything.

One of the most striking aspects of Harcourt is its commitment to diversity. The staff hails from various backgrounds and age groups, providing a rich tapestry of experiences and perspectives. This diversity not only enriches the learning environment but also teaches children the value of acceptance and inclusivity from an early age. The facilities themselves are nothing short of excellent. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs and interests of young minds. From cosy reading nooks to vibrant play areas, every space is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. But beyond the physical space, it's the staff and management, Charlotte & Gaynor, who truly make exceptional. Each member is not just a caregiver but a mentor, friend, and role model to our children in their care. Their dedication, passion, and genuine love for what they do is evident in every interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and security for both children and us parents alike. Additionally, the team understand the importance of balance for us working parents, we have only be called once in 12 months to collect our son as he was unwell. The team will soldier on and only reach out to you if your child is genuinely unwell. In summary, Harcourt is more than just a childcare facilityit's a home away from home where children can thrive, learn, and grow in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The added bonus is the cost. It’s extremely reasonable ! If you're looking for a place where your child will be cherished, challenged, and supported every step of the way, look no further than Harcourt. Highly recommended.

A wonderfully caring Nursery , with small groups for in each age group giving a family environment. The staff do an amazing job giving the children a happy , fun day . We can highly recommend.
