Hardingstone Day Nursery is an independent, family-operated childcare facility established in 1990, nestled within the rural village of Hardingstone, near Northampton. The nursery caters to children from 6 months up to 5 years of age, offering flexible sessions between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, 51 weeks a year.

Led by Michelle Shelswell (EYPS/BA Hons Early Childhood Studies) and Dale Ward (NVQ Level 3), the dedicated staff team is committed to providing exceptional experiences and opportunities for all children in their early years. How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff in this inclusive nursery ensure that children of all abilities, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress. Staff carry out accurate assessments of children's development and identify individual needs. They work closely with parents and other professionals to develop targeted plans for children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Outside, children explore the impressive play space. Staff are always on hand to promote children's curiosity, sharing interesting facts and providing magnifying pots when children find things like ladybirds.
