St Mary's Day Nursery, established in 1981, is an Ofsted-registered charity-run nursery located in Far Cotton, Northampton. They aim to provide high-quality childcare and education for children aged 2-5, fostering their development through a child-centred approach to fun and active learning.

Children are happy to attend St Mary's Day Nursery and separate from their parents easily. They quickly settle and show a positive attitude to play and learning, behaving well and responding positively to high expectations. Children are encouraged to share, take turns, and respect each other's play.
The nursery charges for full-week, full-day, morning, and afternoon sessions, with options to include lunch. Additional hours outside funded hours are charged at an hourly rate. Funded sessions are subject to contribution fees covering meals, snacks, and consumables.

Parents are very complimentary about the nursery. They say that the manager and staff are very supportive and go above and beyond to ensure that their children's needs are met.
Parents state that they receive regular updates, along with face-to-face and online information about their children's development.
Inclusion & environment
Staff know children very well and understand when individual children may need additional support.
Children are keen to find mini-beasts outdoors. Staff provide information books and identification cards to help children identify the different bugs they collect and study. Children also play outdoors, and older children know that when the church bell rings, it is time for them to pack away.
