Haverigg Nursery, alongside The Clubbers, provides private nursery education and extended childcare facilities on the campus of Haverigg Primary School. Situated in purpose-built surroundings on the ground floor of The Lighthouse Centre, the nursery serves as a foundational step for many children, with over half of the Reception class admissions at Haverigg Primary transferring directly from this nursery.
In addition to their nursery provisions, Haverigg offers comprehensive wraparound care through Breakfast, After-school Club, and Holiday Care, operating throughout the year from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Due to high demand, booking for these services is strongly recommended to secure a place for your child.
The school actively collaborates with Haverigg Nursery and Park View Nursery staff to ensure a smooth and successful transition for children moving from nursery to full-time education at Haverigg Primary School. The school places a high value on teaching good behaviour, consideration, and self-discipline, emphasising different values throughout the year to foster children's understanding and maintenance of these principles.

The special educational needs coordinator promptly identifies children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). She works closely with outside agencies to assess whether children need extra support. She works with leaders to make provision for children who need calming spaces when they feel overwhelmed. This helps children with SEND to continue accessing the curriculum.
