The nursery provides a well-planned indoor and outdoor environment, allowing children to develop good physical skills, such as independently pushing cars up a ramp and exploring with left-handed scissors. The setting also focuses on promoting good behaviour, with staff supporting children to practise manners and work as a team, leading to the development of good mathematical concepts. Headstart has secure arrangements in place for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
