30pm, except for bank holidays and one week at Christmas. The setting received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 23rd July 2024.
Children settle in well, greeted with warmth and smiles from staff who know them individually. The nursery curriculum is well-embedded, with staff intentionally planning activities to build on children's existing knowledge and prepare them for future learning stages.
Staff arrange engaging play environments, catering to children's interests, such as babies giggling in a ball pit while staff repeat words like 'up' and 'down' to enhance their vocabulary. The nursery fosters good behaviour through consistent positive modelling and gentle reminders for children to be kind.
Children needing additional support receive tailored help, with staff effectively liaising with parents and other professionals to ensure progress. For instance, children show rapid development in speaking, moving from sounds to clear single words.
Children are also encouraged to become increasingly independent, from feeding themselves with cutlery to managing personal care. Older children develop early mathematical concepts by exploring shapes and their spatial relationships through building activities.
Parents speak highly of the nursery, praising the progress their children make and finding staff approachable and nurturing. They also value the detailed daily information about their child's care and learning.

Great nursery! Staff are friendly and helpful - my child LOVES this nursery. Great at keeping you informed with dates & events as well as daily updates via an app. Food is all home cooked & good ‘hearty’ meals. Great themed days/weeks keep children engaged and they are outside for so much of the day playing in the garden. Would recommend to anyone! Great work team - please keep it up!
Read on GoogleMy daughter has shown truly remarkable developmental progress since she began attending the nursery at just over nine months old, and she is now two years old. She has formed strong bonds with her caregivers and has established lasting friendships. It is wonderful that she is always happy to attend in the mornings and enjoys playing so much. She loves getting involved in all the activities, especially water play and anything messy, which we also love and look forward to see what she has been upto from the updates we get every day. The staff truly know her and her personality, and it is lovely to see how well they know all the children. Brilliant. Thank you.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been attending Aldridge Day Nursery since September 2025. My daughter was given an unlimited amount of settle in sessions to ensure she was comfortable in the environment and fully settled before I returned to work. As a first time Mom who felt very anxious about nursery, Aldridge Day Nursery have been amazing! They made me feel at ease and my daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are so attentive and caring. We get daily updates and photographs which we look forward to and enjoy reading. My daughter has built lovely relationships with her key workers and always has a smile on her face at nursery. The nursery is very approachable and always happy to help. I would definitely recommend this nursery! Thank you Aldridge Day Nursery.
Read on GoogleMy little boy started here in September 2025 and honestly the reassurance I received from all of the staff and mangers was exactly what I needed especially being a first time mum! Dee is phenomenal and really put all my worries at ease she’s never too busy to answer any of your questions and offers brilliant advise! The girls in the sycamores room are a credit to the nursery the way they welcomed my boy in with open arms and the passion they show on feedback when collecting is heartwarming you can tell the children in their care are well cared for. The nursery is beautiful it’s family oriented which adds that extra special touch it really does feel like a home from a home! Overall I would recommend here to anybody that asked the staff, the managers, the artist and the Gardner are all lovely so a huge thank you for making me and my little boy feel so welcome and at ease!!!
Read on GoogleVisited the nursery today with intention of potentially enrolling my daughter after doing my research on social media. Safe to say we will not be returning. We arrived and nobody seemed to know who was meant to be leading our tour or even that we were coming. We were shown around 3 rooms with little information given and the information that was provided was not delivered with confidence. The staff greeting us were cold and only 1 member of staff greeted my daughter when entering the setting. The warmest welcome actually came from the cleaner who asked us if we’re okay and if we needed anything whilst waiting for them to figure out who was leading our tour. The nursery does not have an inviting look about it and neither do the staff. From this first impression I would personally avoid sending your child here. My daughter tried to pay with a role play vanity table and when touched the mirror nearly came off the table it was meant to be attached to. Outdoor facilities were poor and dated. This has not been the experience I’d hoped for and am truly disappointed
