Henry's Day Nursery, located in Nuneaton, is a family-owned establishment with a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional childcare. The nursery is registered to accommodate up to 46 children and is conveniently situated in a residential area, offering easy access to local shops, child-friendly parks, schools, and wildlife areas.
With a strong focus on children aged 3 months to 5 years, the nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6 PM. The experienced management team, boasting over 35 years of combined experience, ensures a high standard of care and education.
They are dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where children can develop a positive approach to learning, cultivate respect for others, and confidently engage within a group setting. The nursery places significant importance on the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, integrating its seven areas of learning into both play-based and structured lessons.
Our ethos
Our goal is to provide a safe and caring environment where children can gain a positive approach to school and learning. They will learn to care for, and respect each other, whilst learning how to be part of a group. Our experienced and dedicated staff help the children to become successful learners, confident individuals, and effective contributors to society. Children learn through play and structured lessons with a balance of free choice.
What it's like
Children are happy in the setting. They confidently talk and play with one another and with the familiar nursery staff. Staff are attentive to children, ensuring their care needs are well supported, and children are comfortable seeking them out for comfort, assistance and conversation.
Fees are structured around full-time weekly packages with distinct rates for children under and over three years old. Reduced weekly rates are available for children accessing 15 or 30 hours of government funding. Standard fees include meals, but meals are charged separately for funded-only hours.

Children of all ages enjoy choosing activities from the selection available both indoors and outdoors. There are daily opportunities for physical activity in the garden.
Lovely nursery, Children are well looked after ! My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months and now she is 19 months! They have supported my child to gradually become more confident not as shy as she used to be , and enjoy her nursery journey learning new things. Lovely staff, manager and owner. Very approachable and helpful too. Great activities lots of fun painting, messy play!

Haisley loves coming to Nursery and will be continuing to do so till she leaves for School. We are expecting another little girl in October and we already know which Nursery she will be going to (Hernys Day Nursery) we love the ladies at Nursery and they are very supportive in everyday thankyou ladies for eveything you do for us and the children.

The nursery opens from Monday to Friday all year round providing care for children from the age of three months, and funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children.
