How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff work closely with parents and carers to identify children's starting points in development, placing particular importance on language and communication skills to make a positive difference from the beginning. Staff swiftly identify when children need support, and their proactive interventions ensure children's learning and that of those around them are not interrupted. Leaders know the importance of supporting parents to access relevant funding and assessments for children's next stage of learning, and have built strong partnerships with other professionals to identify and tackle any barriers children and families may face. Funding has been used to purchase sensory toys that help children to calm and support their development. All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make evident progress, particularly in communication and language skills. Staff are aware of all children's development, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and use assessments and additional communication and language assessments to ensure appropriate support. Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities to wind down and regulate before going home or when needing additional support during the day. All staff adapt their teaching and communication strategies to each child, especially to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Leaders and staff swiftly identify and act on any gaps in children's learning, working smoothly with external agencies to enhance support and utilise additional funding to meet children's needs. Parents and carers share how knowledgeable staff are in supporting their families and reducing barriers to children's learning and daily life at home.

Outdoor space

Children have continuous access to the outdoor area. Staff encourage children to decide how long they want to be outside. Children express excitement as they splash in puddles and pretend to stomp like dinosaurs as they explore how rain changes sand. Children show joy as they explore puddles in the rain and share these experiences with their friends and adults.

A lovely journey with Incredible staff who are warm and loving towards my daughter who is now almost 3yrs old. I feel like I drop her off to an extension of our family. Thank you Sarah, Kerrie & Sharon, Lisa in the toddler room for making this such an enjoyable, safe and educational experience for little Nila. Alexis

My son Joseph has attended Links every morning for the last 2 years, Joseph has Autism, the staff have been fantastic with Joseph's development I would like to pass on my enormous thanks to all the staff especially to Vanessa & Sharon, not only has Joseph had specialist help with his needs the staff have been invaluable with the daunting process of finding suitable educational needs for his future, I would recommend Links to any parent. Many Thanks Joseph's Mum & Dad
