Hey Days Nursery, situated within the rural community of Holmfirth on the grounds of Holmfirth High School, offers quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. Registered for 68 children, the nursery provides a welcoming, safe, and secure environment where children can learn and grow through play.

The dedicated team, including a trained Forest School Leader, encourages curiosity, resilience, and a love for the outdoors through hands-on nature activities. The nursery is committed to inclusivity, diversity, and equality, with a trained SENCO team providing tailored support.

Hey Days Nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, 51 weeks a year, closing only for bank holidays and one week at Christmas. They focus on promoting individual progress, confidence, and independence, ensuring each child's needs are met while fostering respect and strong partnerships with parents and carers.

They also emphasise the health and well-being of both staff and children.

Children are highly motivated and eager to join in, share, and cooperate with friends, consistently showing positive attitudes to play and a high motivation to learn.

Pricing & funding

Fees are charged based on full days, with weekly and half-day sessions restricted to historical bookings. Government-funded places operate on a term-time basis over 38 weeks, with optional consumable and suncream fees, or a restriction to specific 10-hour daily slots if opting out of additional charges.
