The manager has tailored the curriculum to meet children's needs following the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting all children in making good progress and preparing them for school. Staff show high expectations for all children, acting as effective role models in areas such as sharing and turn-taking.
Children access resources independently and enthusiastically, and staff follow their lead in play, incorporating their interests into planned activities. Outdoor learning is encouraged, with staff playing alongside children and supporting activities like mark-making.
While the manager works to further develop staff knowledge in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), the provision maintains effective safeguarding arrangements. Parents consistently express high satisfaction with the setting, praising staff for sharing information about their children's learning and supporting development at home.
The nursery provides funded early education for two-, three-, and four-year-old children.

Inclusion & environment
The manager does not consistently support staff who work with children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) on a one-to-one basis to extend their knowledge of how to use additional strategies and interventions to further support children in the good progress that they make.
In the outdoor provision, staff play alongside children pretending to fix a house, naming the tools as children use them. Other children access mark making outside, using an effective grip to form recognisable shapes.
