Aktiva Nurseries, a family-operated group of independent nurseries, is dedicated to fostering confidence and expanding children's experiences. The nursery group is committed to providing a secure, engaging, and friendly atmosphere where children can thrive.
They embrace a "learning through play" philosophy, cultivating a stimulating environment tailored to each child's unique requirements. Aktiva Nurseries implements the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, adhering to its principles that every child deserves an optimal start in life and the necessary support to reach their full potential.
As such, all providers caring for children aged 0-5 years are legally obligated to meet the EYFS safeguarding, welfare, learning, and development standards. The group has four locations, including Highfield House in Milton Keynes.

Staff support children's communication and language skills, leading to confident talkers in the pre-school room. Children become independent individuals who are eager to learn and solve mathematical problems.
Fees are billed monthly and payable for 51 weeks of the year. There are one-off registration and deposit fees, though these do not apply to funded-only children. Meals are charged separately on a daily basis, and late collection fees are applied per minute.
