Owned and managed by Mrs Stacey Crehan and Mrs Amy Roberts, the day nursery aims to provide a safe, warm, and stimulating environment where children can confidently develop their full potential.

The facility includes dedicated Baby, Tots, and Pre-School Rooms, catering to different age groups. Children are encouraged to discover the world around them through a varied and enriching curriculum, designed to differentiate for individual needs and learning styles.

Beyond the core curriculum, Honey Bees offers numerous extra experiences to inspire awe and wonder, such as Forest School activities and regular outings into the community. These trips include visits to duck ponds, the library, local shops and markets, as well as the beach and sea wall, where children learn about local habitats and engage in civic duties like collecting plastic waste for recycling.

Pricing & funding

Honey Bees Day Nursery offers full day and half day sessions for privately paying parents. An early drop-off option is also available. Meals are charged separately, while snacks are free. Funded hours sessions are provided at no cost for eligible children, with charges only for meals.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. I have never felt so at ease leaving my child in an environment she has been going since 9 months old and is thriving she leaves to go to primary school in September but I then have my twin boys starting!! Brilliant nursery wouldn’t send my children anywhere else. Photos say it all!

My little girl has attended Honey Bees since she was 1 (now turning 4) - she was a 'covid baby' so it was the first place I'd really left her as she'd been with very few family members. The staff truly made me feel at ease with their love & care for her (as well as their understanding of my feelings). The staff are all lovely and you can tell they genuinely care and have a passion for working with young children. Plus, how happy my daughter was to go, reassured me further. There are inevitably times when your child doesn't want to leave you, and even through these 'phases', the staff have helped her/me and I have felt comforted knowing she is well cared for and always soon settles into having a great time. My son is starting this week, and I know he's going to love it!

They were able to take my daughter at 4 months old as I had to return to work quickly, and I am so grateful for all the love and hard work they do. Lovely nursery, my daughter has loved her time here. If I have another, this is where they'll go.

My son attends honey bees day nursery and I couldn’t recommend them enough. The staff are all very welcoming and lovely, always a smile on their face when greeting you. My son has been absolutely loving it. I also get an update about his day every time I pic up along with pictures/updates throughout the day through the baby days app :)

Lovely homely nursery! I am so happy with my children attending Honey Bees. They are so well looked after and have progressed in their development leaps and bounds ! All the staff are lovely!
