Honeybuns Nursery in Telford is the largest facility within the Honeybuns group, situated in a Grade II listed Georgian building at 17 Whitchurch Road, Wellington. The nursery is designed to cater to 128 children, offering a wide array of modern amenities.
A significant highlight is the striking orangery, which provides direct access to a secure, enclosed outdoor play area. This outdoor space is thoughtfully divided into safe zones for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, ensuring age-appropriate activities and ample opportunities for fresh air and exercise.
Children can enjoy features like a sand and water area, a nature zone, an outdoor shelter with picnic tables, and various climbing frames and pedalling toys on an all-weather surface. Babies and toddlers also benefit from their own dedicated outdoor play area with a soft surface.
For parents, there is plenty of car parking available, along with a shed for pushchairs and stands for bikes, making drop-offs and pick-ups convenient. Honeybuns Telford offers flexible childcare solutions, operating from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm daily, excluding bank holidays and Christmas week.
Fees are calculated on a 52-week basis and are payable monthly in advance. The nursery requires a minimum booking of either two morning or afternoon sessions, or one full day per week.
Sibling discounts are available, and extra sessions can be booked on an ad-hoc basis, subject to availability. Funded Early Education and flexible hours are also offered.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities very well. Partnership working is excellent and means that children's individual needs are nurtured and supported. Timely and prompt assessments of children's progress mean that gaps in development are highlighted quickly.
When making a magic wand in the forest garden area using a wide range of natural and creative materials, children keep trying to refine their scissor skills to cut lengths of ribbon or small twigs.
I'll offer a counter point to the bad review below. Our little one is learning Polish and English. I really don't see language as being a barrier to the care that is given by the team here. It's widely written that a bilingual child will have a slower development in terms of speech to begin with, but will catch up later on. We use both Polish and English at home, he learns both words for everything. The team here are great with the kids and would fully recommend them as being caring, trustworthy custodians.
Read on GoogleWe had to make the difficult decision to move our 1 year old from another nursery after we've learnt how poor quality of care was at this 'outstanding' facility. We chose Honeybuns and I can't even describe how wonderful all the staff have been. It was so difficult to trust someone again to look after our child but staff made the whole process so much easier. I honestly can't thank them enough for all their compassion and support. Our little one now adores her key worker and I can't believe how much confidence she's gained! Thank you!!!
