Honeyshute Day Nurseries operates across multiple locations, including Eggbuckland, Compton, Thornbury, and Austin Farm, offering care and education for children from birth to five years old. How they support every child
SEND provision
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make exceptional progress as there is an ambitious and brilliantly sequenced curriculum. If a child needs extra support, the very knowledgeable special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) supports them expertly. She works collaboratively with the child's parents and outside agencies to ensure the child makes excellent progress.
Outdoor space
Outside, younger children explore bubbly water and learn about volume as they pour and fill containers. The inspector observed the quality of education being delivered, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this was having on children's learning.
