Hoppers Childcare, established in 2016 and re-registered in 2023, provides a warm and welcoming environment for children aged 0-11 years, operating all year round from 7:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The nursery received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 25 April 2024.
Staff greet children warmly, fostering an atmosphere where children are eager to arrive and quickly become focused in their play. The curriculum is thoughtfully planned based on children's interests and individual needs, ensuring children are calm, settled, and highly engaged.
Hoppers Childcare places a strong emphasis on developing both large and small motor skills, from encouraging babies to take their first steps to teaching older children how to run, jump, and form letters. How they support every child
SEND provision
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress. Children with SEND are very well supported, with staff identifying gaps in learning and putting plans in place. The SENCo works well with staff, parents, and other agencies to ensure children receive needed support, and effective monitoring ensures children with SEND make progress.
Outdoor space
Staff ensure that books are available across all areas of the setting, including outside. Children access these independently. Children enjoy the outdoors. Staff encourage children to look for bugs by using their magnifying glass. They provide tools for children to dig and plant in the soil.
