Little Explorers Day Nursery, established in 2015 in Golcar, Huddersfield, is an outstanding childcare setting for children aged 0-4 years. 30am to 6pm, except for bank holidays and one week at Christmas, it provides a very calm, homely, nurturing, and fully inclusive environment where children are cherished.

The nursery prides itself on its exceptional support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), working closely with various professionals, including teachers for children who are blind or partially sighted and the local authority inclusion team. Staff meticulously craft support plans to ensure every child succeeds.

The curriculum focuses on developing highly independent and motivated learners, with a strong emphasis on language, literacy, and problem-solving skills. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves physically, exploring the garden by running up steps to develop strength and coordination.

The emotional well-being of each child is incredibly well-supported, fostering strong attachments with consistent key persons and a deep sense of belonging.
