About this day nursery

30pm all year round, closing only for one week over Christmas and on public holidays. The nursery caters for children aged 0-4 years and received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 11th January 2024.

Children are welcomed warmly by staff, promoting a sense of belonging and helping them to feel settled and secure. The manager is dedicated to the care children receive, regularly reviewing the curriculum to ensure children make good progress.

The curriculum is designed to build on children's existing knowledge and help them develop new skills, fostering independence, such as helping to lay tables for mealtimes and serving their own hot cooked lunch. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress, supported by a special educational needs coordinator who collaborates with other professionals and keeps parents informed.

Parents are very happy with the care, describing the setting as a "home from home" environment, appreciating the staff's updates on their children's progress.
