How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress in their learning. There are strong processes in place to support children with SEND. Leaders and staff work in close collaboration with parents and professionals to ensure children with SEND receive the greatest support at the earliest opportunity, and set realistic, yet challenging, targets.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning. The manager carried out a joint observation of a group activity outside with the inspector.

Finding a nursery was really emotional and hard for us as first time parents, we wanted to find the best in the town, and couldn’t fault Hopscotch Seaford! The staff go above and beyond for the children, the app they use to communicate and update your child’s daily progress is just outstanding, especially for nervous parents who need that reassurance! 100% recommend!

Highly recommend Hopscotch Seaford. The set up is great, with soft play and a nice garden. The staff have gone above and beyond to support my son and he really enjoys his time there. He has made some really lovely bonds with staff. We’re going to really miss Hopscotch when he transitions to school!

I cannot recommend Hopscotch Seaford enough! Both my sons have thrived there and really loved going in (despite them being 5 days a week, bless them!). The staff are always warm and caring, there's fun and varied activities and learning themes, daily photos and group updates for parents - I have never not felt comfortable that my sons are getting the best care and start to their educations. We're going to miss Hopscotch and the team tremendously!

My daughter is 2.5 year old and has never left me. I was very anxious about sending her to nursery but knew she’d benefit from the social aspect. The staff at hopscotch have gone above and beyond to make her feel nurtured and safe. They give each child the care and attention they need whilst also running group activities that are fun, engaging but always have a skill being taught within. I am extremely grateful for the support my daughter and I have received in this transition and could not ask for a better environment for her to be looked after in.

Hopscotch in Seaford is an excellent nursery. My son loves it there and the teaching and care provided has been second to none. I can't thank them enough for continuing to provide a safe, caring and professional place for my son during this pandemic. Your work is truly appreciated.
