Hornsey Day Nursery and Preschool operates across two distinct sites located approximately 500 meters from each other on Hornsey Road. One site caters to infants aged three to twenty-four months, offering dedicated rooms for very young babies (pre-walkers or early walkers) and pre-toddlers, designed with accessible, colourful, and engaging resources to foster early exploration and learning.
The second site, situated on New Orleans Walk, is specifically for toddlers and preschool children aged two to four years, and features a spacious 400 square meter garden. Both the toddler and preschool rooms at this location are thoughtfully designed to promote children's well-being and developmental progress.
The nursery is open Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm, excluding two weeks over the Christmas period and bank holidays. It proudly holds a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted across both locations and all learning areas.
The nursery provides care for families in surrounding areas such as Finsbury Park, Archway, Crouch End, Stroud Green, Crouch Hill, and Upper Holloway.

I would absolutely recommend this nursery. Both our boys went here and had a fantastic time. The staff were so kind and attentive to the boys' needs. They did so many activities (arts and craft, language lessons) that we'd never do at home and they also helped out with other things like toilet training and getting rid of dummies at nap times. An excellent, well run nursery that deserves its 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
