Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children are screened using a speech-screening tool. Targets are set which are designed to swiftly close any gaps in learning. Bilingual staff support children who speak English as an additional language. Swift referrals are made to any external agencies if required.

Outdoor space

Outdoors, children use a climbing frame or ride on wheeled toys to practise their large muscles. Children enjoy digging in soil or experimenting making their own gloopy mixture with cornflour and water, which helps to strengthen their small muscles ready for pencil control.

All three of my children attended this nursery, starting with my eldest in 2016 through to 2024. Throughout these years, the staff have been consistently outstanding, warm, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable. They created a nurturing environment where my children felt loved and valued. Learning was introduced in a fun, engaging way that was perfectly suited to their age, helping them transition smoothly into reception. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery; our experience has been wonderful, and the children truly loved every moment.

A wholehearted thank you to all the staff at ILM. My son has had a brilliant time at this Nursery. Staff are super friendly and make so much effort in organising fun activities. The range of activities he has taken part in over the last year include painting, decorating biscuits, stories, outdoor play and so much more. My son has developed many skills, including improved communication, being more independent and learning to interact with other children. The nursery staff regularly organise parties such as Eid parties, with bouncy castles, games and little goody bags. Staff really go above and beyond to make the nursery a fun environment. Would definitely recommend this nursery.
