How they support every child

SEND provision

Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), receive good levels of support. For example, children who are eligible for additional funding benefit from one-to-one assistance to help address gaps in their learning. The manager has introduced a sensory room to enhance the concentration span of children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy engaging in physical activities, such as football and tennis, with a specialist teacher to support their gross motor skills. I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery and its wonderful staff. From the very first day, my daughter was cared for with immense kindness and professionalism, making her settling-in period smooth and comforting. The staff were truly brilliant, and their consistency created a reliable and nurturing environment. They always went above and beyond, ensuring she was comforted when she was upset and even offering different food options to help her adjust. The care here goes beyond just looking after the children; they actively support their growth and development. They were instrumental in helping my daughter grow her confidence and were a huge help with toilet training. The children have access to a vast array of activities and plenty of toys, and the amazing garden space is a real highlight. The food options are also excellent, offering great choices for the children. We are so grateful for the wonderful experience our daughter has had. The staff's dedication is clear in everything they do. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent. Thank you Sam, Gina, Anna, Katherine, Amy, Nicole, Marnie, Shannon, Janet, Lynn, Madina and everyone else I forgot to mention!

I really feel the staff care about my daughter and have a lot of fun with her. She has made so many little friends. A lot of care is also taken with the meals and she eats very well. It's hard leaving your little one to go to work but it does help she is so settled and happy at nursery! Really great team from the manager down.

My little girl is thriving at Ross Road nursery. Every week she comes home with something new; a new song or actions to a nursery rhyme. I really love the nursery’s core book approach, my daughter knows most word for word. The staff are wonderful, the communication brilliant and I go to work happy my daughter is being cared for and having fun.

I pulled my child out of this nursery due to safeguarding concerns reported by my child regarding a staff at the nursery. The police were called who asked the nursery to inform other parents. I would certainly not recommend this institution to any parents
