Inclusion & environment
Staff support children who speak English as an additional language with some basic sign language. They also use pictures to help them choose different nursery rhymes and understand what is happening next. As a result, children make steady progress with their language from their various starting points.

Absolutely livid do not send your child here! My son is SEN and non verbal, and was neglected whilst in the care of the staff! On multiple occasions my son has come back with his juice bottle still filled to the top I asked a member of staff on the door why he hasn’t had a drink and the response was the more he drinks the fuller his nappy gets and explodes. Multiple injuries/ accidents have occurred just over the last two weeks and only 1 has been logged onto the parent zone app! When first starting the nursery, he had terrible nappy rash, which he has never previously suffered with. This seems to be an ongoing theme I can see from other reviews too. Steer clear guys!!!
Read on GoogleLovely nursery, my 4 & 1 year old have been going for few months and they've settled in really well. Staff are friendly, they give good handover and the nursery updates the parenting app with observations and other info regularly.
Read on GoogleOur experience at Kangaroo Pouch Nursery has been absolutely fantastic! This nurturing haven has not only taught our daughter valuable skills but has also become her favorite place to be every day. The enthusiasm she brings to the nursery is a testament to the wonderful environment created by the dedicated staff. Kirsty, our daughter's caregiver, deserves special recognition. Her commitment to fostering confidence and independence in the children is truly commendable. Our daughter has flourished under Kirsty's guidance, and we couldn't be happier with the progress she's made. From the engaging activities to the supportive atmosphere, this nursery has exceeded our expectations. We're grateful for the positive impact this nurturing space has had on our child's development. We highly recommend this nursery to any parent seeking a top-notch early learning experience for their little one. Thank you for providing such a remarkable place for our child to grow and thrive!
Read on GoogleMy child attended this nursery since was 7 months old. Whilst in the baby room the staff were great, however after moving rooms, my child was constantly ill. 4 out of 5 days per week would come home with nappy rash (but would never experience this when was not at nursery) and the key worker lacked communication skills, and did not seem qualified, as struggled with the basics. The manager is rude and unapproachable. I had a number of meetings with management to try to work through the issues I had as the last thing I wanted to do was move my child, but I found her again to be uncaring, rude, failed to listen to my concerns or take accountability when the wrong doings was clear to see. As a result i would score zero and reccommed to avoid this nursery. I have however given 1 star in recognition of 2 staff members who were great throughout my child's time there especially in the baby room and frankly are too good for this nursery.
Read on GoogleI would avoid this nursery!! The nursery is poorly managed. The manager is rude from the first day I met her, she’s not welcoming and not understanding. Some of the staff are nice just a shame they’re in the wrong nursery. I’ve had so many issues whilst my little one was there!! Little one was always coming back home unwell!
