About this day nursery

Keighley Community Nursery is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation established in 1997 with a mission to provide accessible, high-quality childcare for all children and their families. Amazing nursery. Lovely attentive staff. Our son has come on leaps and bounds since joining here. It will be sad when he moves on to primary next year. There is a reason why a number of educators choose to send their own children here!

Do not recommend this setting. Funded children are treated differently to children who's parent pay they are allowed mornings or afternoons in a small room with no outdoor space but will be taken outside for some air at certain times of day, which is very different to the paying parents room where children have unlimited outdoor access in a bigger room. Funded children are allowed to be kicked out of their places whenever the nursery decides claiming children are moving up from the baby room as if they were unaware of birthdays in advance. Management cannot decide on what's available at what times (there's only 2 of them) 1 gives all the wrong information and the other just seems to clean up her messes. Maybe if you pay directly you will have a different experience but for funded placement I would definitely consider other options or you may be let down. However the staff in the room are lovely and my daughter really enjoyed her time there so it's unfortunate she has to change providers due to her not getting what was agreed prior to her starting.

I’ve used KCN for a couple of years now after moving from a different nursery and have always found the staff so friendly and extremely helpful! As well as the nursery being very reasonably priced compared to others. My little boy loved it at the nursery and now loves going to after school club. 10/10 recommend to everyone!
