Kiddiwinx Ltd, located in Folkestone, provides a warm and welcoming term-time environment for children aged 2 to 4 years. Established in 2014, the nursery operates from a converted house, open weekdays from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

Staff are dedicated to creating a safe and secure space where children feel comfortable and excited to engage with their peers and carers. The curriculum is broad and stimulating, carefully designed to build on what each child already knows and can do, helping them to achieve good outcomes and thrive.

The whole team works collaboratively, consistently striving to improve and develop the provision, as recognised in their 'Good' Ofsted rating from the inspection on 27th November 2024. The nursery places a strong focus on developing children's communication and language skills, utilising gestures and clear demonstrations to enhance understanding of new words.

Physical development is also a priority, with ample opportunities for children to balance, climb, and use ride-on toys in the spacious nursery garden, alongside fine motor skill activities in the 'messy room'. Staff access training and work effectively with other professionals to provide early interventions and meaningful support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring good progress for all.

Parents have commented that their children have "come on in leaps and bounds" since attending, valuing the care and attention provided. Children are also supported in developing positive relationships and good behaviour, including learning safety procedures and healthy lifestyle choices.

Staff create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe and secure. Children enter the nursery with ease and excitement and are delighted to greet staff and their friends. They settle quickly as they are instantly absorbed in their self-chosen activities.
