Busy Bees Nursery is the caring and supportive staff. They create such a warm environment where children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn. I also appreciate how well-balanced the days are, with plenty of fun activities as well as opportunities to develop new skills and confidence.My child feels welcome and included despite having developmental delays. And she really enjoys being in nursery more than home😂

The best nursery in Sunderland! After a tough year elsewhere, our son settled instantly (literally from day 1) at Busy Bees and became the happiest little boy. Nathan, Rebecca and the whole team are truly fantastic – caring, supportive and always going above and beyond. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We can’t rate kids 1st high enough. We’ve loved our time here. The staff are excellent. So welcoming, friendly and supportive. The nursery has a high standard of cleanliness and food choices. I love the app so I can see what my little boy is eating / doing each day. There’s always a range of activities and we’ve noticed a huge change in our little boys confidence since coming here. He learns so much, and loves coming in. For us seeing how much he enjoys it has been the biggest thing. We would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter attended kids first, it seemed alright at first but I came to realize that their main priority was not the children and was in fact MONEY. I'd been paying for my daughter's dinners every day, to then be told I was "under paying" even though I paid £4 a day for 1 meal, so I was told to pay more. I usually paid this in cash and was then told I hadn't paid for certain weeks when I knew I had. Also when I lost my job I paid up the full amount of time my little one was in nursery but told them from the Monday the following week my little one would only be able to do the free hours. I was then sent a bill of nearly £800 and told I had to pay up the rest of the month even if she wasn't going to be using them hours. Who would try charge a single mother who has just lost their job that kind of money? I decided to move her nursery since they talked down to me, I also paid money for school photos which I never received. Even after explaining my circumstances about loosing my job they threatened me with court, and told me it isn't a pay as you go service and I had to pay for the rest of the hours for that month which made no sense to me. About a week after I took my little one out of this nursery they rang back asking for her to come back, telling me I'd never find a nursery that would allow me to "pay as I go" but I had in fact found somewhere. Barnes little learners were so much better, when I explained the situation with kids first they were shocked and disgusted.
