About this day nursery

Serving children aged 3 to 4 years old, the pre-school offers a rich, well-thought-out curriculum that builds on children's interests and ensures excellent progress. Children are visibly excited to attend, arriving with beaming smiles and engaging enthusiastically with staff.

The curriculum fosters effective and purposeful learning, encouraging children to be independent problem-solvers. For instance, in the outdoor area, children enjoy making "sand soup," collaboratively seeking solutions as they experiment with sand and water to achieve the right consistency.

A dinosaur-sorting activity in the garden is thoughtfully paired with a dinosaur book, creating wonderful dialogues between children and staff and enhancing learning about the creatures. The nursery places a strong emphasis on emotional well-being, kindness, and mindfulness, promoting exceptional behaviour and a high regard for others.

Children thrive on responsibility, showing their capabilities as "happy helpers" and demonstrating an exemplary understanding of their emotions. Staff skilfully plan activities that broaden children's experiences, such as learning about different cultures through immersive activities or exploring space when a child shows interest.

The setting also supports children in developing an excellent understanding of good oral and physical health through engaging activities like toothbrushing techniques and daily aerobics sessions, where they learn about the positive impact of exercise on their bodies.
