Review for kids planet Hoghton house on 54-56 hoghton street (used to be monkey puzzle) . Carless and incompetent staff/management !! I gave Monkey Puzzle a good chance but the way my daughter was treated was just not acceptable. No wonder they went into liquidation and then saved by Kids Planet new name new reputation. I sent my daughter to this nursery for around 10 months she was in the toddler room, she was not cleaned properly stains her bottom when I picked her up which resulted into a urine infection from transfer. Records showed that she did have a bowel movement on that day but was not cleaned by staff properly. my daughter had to be off nursery for 1 week on antibiotics still had to pay the full fees. I reported this verbally and by email manager said its acknowledged still didn't get any feed back from kayla speaking to the staff member I had to chase everything up. This also happened again a cew weeks later I reported to the deputy manager Ann she said she will pass on to kayla (manager) rang a week later about update and who was responsible Kayla said no message has been passed on by ann. I reported to kayla again did not get an update about the meetings shes had with the staff members. Many many times I have picked my daughter up very dry and thirsty gulping down water or juice in the car since it was never offered to her, my daughter was not speaking at the time. Snot all over her face from crying no one thought lets wipe or wash her face again i reported this kayla simply said iv never seen her face unclean. I have walked in to my daughter watching youtube on the big screen upstairs “Simple Songs” I was never informed that screen time was part of their routine. My daughter also needed special educational support to help with language development started great with meetings that was meant to happen every 2-3 weeks they ended up being every few months and then cancellations and no further invite. I finally decided to take my daughter out of the nursery. Ann was required to do senes referral sept 2024 HV got in contact with them no referral was completed by the manager or deputy manager and other staff members had notified us that referral was completed. I was also informed that a referral was completed. Now I am having to start the whole process all over again and wait months for a referral. Lastly issues with invoices since they were not checking the voucher codes. Very disappointed in this nursery they could not have been more careless and incompetent every query you have they say so and so is not here we will call back or email later they never do. Wish I never sent my daughter there
Read on GoogleWriting this review from my sister's account. My son just finished nursery today before he starts school. I cant praise this nursery enough. All staff have went above and beyond especially certain staff members. I have always felt at ease leaving my son and fully trust this nursery. They have always been very transparent which I also liked and helped my son with his speech. Good management to. My son would leave every day with a big smile. He had so much fun. Very sad to leave. Thank you all for being so amazing!
Read on GoogleLaura and the team at Kids Planet at Manchester Road are brilliant. The staff are amazing and they all seem to work great as a team. Our little lady loves attending the day nursery and she is always made to feel welcome and comforted when she needs a little hug or reassurance. The extensive range of activities the staff get the toddlers involved in are wonderful and fulfilling as well as completely enjoyable for the little ones. The chef is amazing and seems to possess a magic wand when cooking for the toddlers for they all seem to eat the fabulous menu week in week out. It would be really unfair to highlight any one member of staff because they all seem to possess the same passion and motivation which provides a great team dynamics. I would rate this day nursery 10 out of 10 and definitely 5 stars! The office staff are always on top of the admin especially when it comes to the government discount codes! Thank you Tracey.
