Established in 2014, the nursery operates term-time, opening from 8am to 2:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm on Fridays.

The latest Ofsted inspection, on 8th June 2022, rated the nursery as 'Good' in overall effectiveness, reflecting the high quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. Staff are excellent role models, maintaining high expectations for children's behaviour, leading to very well-behaved children who form strong relationships with both staff and peers.

The curriculum is broad and balanced, and staff demonstrate a deep understanding of each child's learning journey. Outdoor learning is a particular strength, with children enjoying fresh air and exercise.

They show enthusiasm for nature, pointing out where ants live under logs and where squirrels and birds eat. This fosters an understanding of the environment and living things, complemented by activities such as recycling and learning about energy conservation.

Children are encouraged to be independent, preparing their own snacks and learning about oral hygiene. The nursery also focuses on emotional development, helping children to recognise and express their feelings and develop empathy.

Staff support language development effectively, introducing new words and encouraging children to share their knowledge and experiences. The experienced manager is highly reflective and dedicated to continuous improvement, ensuring the nursery provides excellent care and prepares children well for their next steps in learning, including school.
