Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Marwell Zoo offers an exceptional early years experience, boasting a unique setting within Marwell Zoo itself. The kindergarten provides spacious classrooms, complete with children's kitchens, a sleep room, nature room, and music room.

It has received an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted twice, in 2017 and 2022. The secure, one-and-a-half-acre outdoor play area features a large vegetable garden, a supersised sandpit, dens, climbing equipment, and private woodland access, with the added charm of views overlooking the penguin and giraffe enclosures.

The highly qualified team is dedicated to nurturing each child's individual interests. Children benefit from unique experiences such as daily Mini-Zoologists Explorer Sessions in the zoo, led by Marwell Zoo’s Education Team, as well as cooking and relaxation sessions.

The curriculum emphasises environmental consciousness, encouraging children to understand animal habitats, conservation efforts at Marwell, and the importance of protecting endangered species.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured by age bands for full-day sessions running from 7:45am to 5pm, which include a full-day booking discount. An optional commuter hour extension is available, and discounts are offered for combining specific food and additional service packages.
